Choose the week you actually have
The Assemblies of God in the USA publishes an annual Week of Prayer with its own dates and daily resources. That is a named Pentecostal example, not a calendar followed by every Pentecostal church. This tool is a personal seven-day planner with no fixed annual dates.
Start with a week in which a simple daily focus will help you make room for prayer. If your church is taking part in a particular prayer week, use its current materials and adapt the focus fields to match.
Keep the focus clear and concrete
The suggested subjects move from gratitude to church life, neighbours, service, mission and people facing hardship. They are original examples rather than a reproduction of an official prayer-point sheet. Choose a focus you can remember when you step away from the screen.
The response field is for one ordinary action: checking in on someone, offering practical help, or making space to listen. It does not predict what will happen or turn prayer into a promise of a particular outcome.
Make room for your church’s practice
Use Scripture and the prayer resources your church recommends. This planner does not generate messages from God, interpret spiritual experiences or assess spiritual gifts. Bring questions about those matters to trusted church leaders.
The seven days are labelled Day 1 to Day 7 so the plan can begin on any weekday. Changing one day keeps the other six in place for this visit. Print or download the whole plan before closing the page if you want to keep it.
Carry the week into ordinary life
At the end of the week, notice which focus you would like to continue. You might keep one practical action rather than start a longer programme straight away. The page has no spiritual score, streak or requirement to finish every box.
Use broad descriptions in the plan. Keep private requests and other people’s circumstances off the page. For an Assemblies of God event, follow the official link below for the current edition rather than assuming these examples are its published themes.
Questions
Is this the official Assemblies of God prayer week?
No. It is an independent seven-day planner. Follow the official Assemblies of God resource for its current dates and prayer points.
Can I start on any weekday?
Yes. Day 1 is whichever day you choose. There is no automatic church calendar or date calculation.
Is my weekly plan saved?
No. It stays in this page’s memory for this visit. Print, copy or download it before leaving if you want to keep it.
Is this a feature in the PrayLock iPhone app?
This is a separate web tool. PrayLock puts a prayer before the iPhone apps you choose and requires a Pro subscription.
