How the PrayLock team writes, checks and corrects the guides and tools on this site.

By the PrayLock team at Ruvix Labs

Who writes this

The guides, prayers and routine builder are written by the PrayLock team at Ruvix Ltd, the company that makes the PrayLock app. We are app makers, not a church or a seminary, and we don't claim theological qualifications. The guides are practical: how to make room for prayer and Scripture in an ordinary day.

Scripture

Every Bible quotation is the World English Bible, a public-domain translation, taken word for word from the same text the PrayLock app uses. We never type verse text by hand; a check compares every quotation on the site with that text before it is published.

We quote verses with the verses around them and give the reference, so you can read them in context. Spanish and Portuguese pages quote the English World English Bible and label it as English; they don't present it as a translation.

Prayers and advice

The prayers are our own, written as examples you can use or adapt. We don't promise outcomes, answered prayer or healing. Nothing here is medical, mental-health or pastoral counselling; if you are struggling, talk to someone you trust, your church or a professional.

What we say about the app

When a guide or the routine builder mentions PrayLock, it describes features that exist in the current app, checked against the app itself, with the setting names as they appear in it. The website never connects to the app or changes its settings. Reviews we show are real App Store reviews, credited as they appear there.

Updates and corrections

Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We review the guides when the app changes. If you spot a mistake, a misquoted verse or something unclear, email us and we will fix it and update the date.
